Dear Valued Northland Customer
We are excited to update you on the next steps in the growth of our business and would like to ask you a favor.
On August 1st, we will begin servicing you under the Matrix Sciences name. Our plan has been to unify our companies under our one brand. From the beginning our goal has been to grow and build our network, our scope of services and a unique level of expertise as a way of better serving our customers. With the opening of our new facility in Los Angeles, we are proud to announce that our company now has ten locations across North America and through this, we offer a unique depth and range of expertise in food quality and safety.
In April of 2017, Northland Laboratories was acquired by Matrix Sciences. This was an important step forward for us because we became a critical building block in building a company whose purpose was to ensure that our customers had access to accurate, timely and insightful information across a wide geography and the scope of services that they needed to bring safe quality food to market. It also gave us access to investment to continue to build Northland Laboratories. Matrix Sciences has also grown because of the value of its increasing service offering and capacity have brought to growing list of customers.
We ask for your help in ensuring that our name change is reflected in your Accounts Payable Department and systems. We will be contacting them directly but would appreciate your assistance in ensuring that the transition takes effect. Please do not hesitate in contacting us with any questions.
This integration is about becoming more than the sum of Matrix’s parts. There are no changes to our team. In fact, we continue to invest and grow our business. This change simply means that we are doing it in a more coordinated and integrated way within Matrix. We will be changing email addresses and so, while our old email addresses will still work, we will be using “@matrixsciences.com” as the format for our primary address.
